Obsessions

For me an obsession is something that you cannot stop doing, something you think on it all time, or something you really like. But sometimes people cross the limit with their obsessions, and that can be dangerous in some occasions.
The scientific explanation for an obsession is: disturbance produced by a fixed idea. Also is an idea that assails the mind.

These are some types of obsessions:
-Washers and wipers:  they are people who have obsessions related to contamination, those people spend a lot of time cleaning.
-Verifiers: there are people who inspect excessively in order to avoid a mistake
-Accumulators: they are people who collect insignificant objects, and get obsessed with them.
-Repeaters: are those people who insist on the execution of repetitive actions.
-Obsessed with order: They want all the things to be in their site.

I think everyone can go under obsessions, just that some of them go under the bad ones, like people obsessed with drugs, smoking, or another dangerous obsession. But some people get obsessed with artists, collecting things, or something else, this people have to care of not cross the limit with their obsessions.

This woman collects santa claus dolls, she has more than 6000 dolls of santa!

My Obsession

Something that I really like is belly dance, I think it's a beautiful and amazing dance. I have been practicing it since 3 years ago, and I love it.
I have my belly dance class twice a week, for me this is the time when I get relaxed and forget everything I have to do for school, and I have fun during the class.
Something that I really like from belly dance is that every movement has a history and a name. This dance came from the Middle Eastern. You can dance it with veils, Isis Wings, Sticks, Sword, candelabrum, candles and more.
I have learned how to dance with veil, with the stick and soon I will learn how to use the Isis wings, I am really excited about it!
One anecdote that I have was in a show, because I was dancing the choreography number 12, and I had to dance again in the choreography number 14.  The choreography number 13 lasted only 3 minutes so that meant that I had only 3 minutes to change my costume and all the accessories! So I ran from the stage to the dressing room, I almost fell down! When I finally get to the dressing room, I started to get dressed very fast, when I finished I started to run again to the stage, and I thought: oh my god! I will be late!, but I arrive the stage on time, that was a miracle!

My reflections

With this fair we have learned more about the biotechnology; and the fermentation of: Bread, Cheese and "Chicha" .We picked "Chicha and Yogurt", we learned a lot of this product, the history, how to cook them, the fermentation of them, and more things. When we did the experiments, we saw the changes in the texture and color of this product. This was our first time doing an investigation of this level, so that was a problem, but we fix it. In conclusion we have improved our knowledge with this investigation.

Introducing Myself

Hello! My name is Lorena MarĂn, I was born in Anzoategui,  on January 10th, I'm fourteen years old, my mother is Maria Elena, she is the one that is always there for me, and my father is Rafael David, he is the best, he has done so much things for me, he is always happy and when I'm sad, he always makes me smile. I have a very big family and I haven't met all of them. I study at Don Bosco School. My hobby is practice the belly dance, I really like it.

This picture is blurred, but it really means for me. This was my first official belly dance show, in that moment I'm dancing a beautiful choregraphy, that was my favorite. That day all my family went to Mare Mare hotel to see me. This was my first time dancing in front of a lot of public! This is an experience that I will never forget!
